Burmese Days, 2009 Golden Iceberg winner

George Orwell's Burmese Days has been awarded with the GOLDEN ICEBERG as the best book posted in 2009 on La teoria de l'Iceberg.

The jury (myself) praised the extraodinary writing skills shown by Mr. Orwell and the way he uses his personal experience to alert about the prejudices of the Western society towards the Asian cultures.
